Tips for Holiday nails

I don´t know if you have the same problem as I do, but as soon as the holidays begin and all the cooking and washing dishes begin,  my hands get ugly! Dry from scrubbing  (I can´t seem to  remember to wear gloves all the times) with broken nails and manicures that don´t  last  a day.

Find a nail hardener containing, among other things, nylon. Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails is a good choice.

Filing her nails in one direction and not from one side to the other, doing this tends to break them.

Use cuticle & cream. My favorite is the treatment for nails and cuticles from L'Occitane. It has shea butter and essential oils.

From now on, the gloves are my BFF's

5.- Tomar vitaminas, especialmente esta temporada.     Take vitamins, especially this season.

There is always the option to try Shellac, it´s good that it lasts this long because I´ve heard it´s expensive.

This did not know but they say it's good to put sunscreen on your hands if you put under the UV lamp.

I don´t know what I´m going to wear yet, but any of these colors will definitely work wonders for my look.

  1. Oh I can't do Shellac, it wrecked my nails. Love Sally Hanson because most of her products are Toulene free. Shea butter WILL, in fact, help you develop flexible nails and can you just die with all the choices of OPI shades??? It's a shame we only have 10 fingernails!

  2. Thanks for the tips! I actually love shellac, but agree that since it's a little more intense it's best to do it only occasionally. I love all the trends with nails right now...so fun!

  5. That shade of red/pink from Shellac just got my attention! I love painting my nails in red/pink. I know what you mean, once we get into the kitchen it's down hill from there for our hands.
